frost growled under his breath. "it was a dam hawk." he lied, she couldnt know about demons or anything. He had the scent, he just couldnt follow it. Flare frowned. "now ill never finish it!"

frost moved his head slightly towards the sound, but it was so small flare wouldnt be able to see it. he pulled her up, setting her on a branch, and flare sighed. "you owe me a book." frost laughed.

Flare had her eyes closed, so she didnt see frost's tension.

Shaenlyn smelt a human and frowned tucking her wings in. she pulled shanes hair down to cover the bat wings on his head. and made him hid his tail so that they aoporeard normal. when they got near shaenlyn called out, " Hello?"

Frost looked up at his sister once more, then walked and gently took the book. "thanks. i wasnt as worried about the book as i was about her seeing him." He nodded toward shane. "she doesnt know about this world, and she cant."
