Raye relaxed and sat down by the fire, stretching her feet toward it. "Are you sure your arm is going to be okay?" She asked, a questioning look on her face. "I mean, was it one of the shape-shifter wolves, or was it a real full-moon wolf?"

Raye smiled, relieved. It was a good thing, she didn't want Kaine to be a real werewolf. She'd probably have to kill him. "Hmm. That's strange. I always knew they didn't like other species but...to attack them? Then again...the vampires and Darknesses have been acting strange lately too..." As have the demons she thought with a sigh.

Raye nodded. "There has been a Darkness who was killing all the humans, so the vampires wanted to get back at him so they killed the young Darknesses." She frowned and shook her head. "It's really too bad."

Raye nodded. "Yes. At least that's what I heard from my.....father." She shook her head and continued. "To me It seems pointless. I mean, the vampires feed on humans, and there really aren't that many Darknesses. There should be enough to go around." She flushed, realizing how cruel she just sounded. Just like her father.
